January 1, 2008 |
Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) will celebrate 60 years of supporting business people and strengthening commerce in our vibrant region with a Gala event, Saturday, January 19th, 2008 6:00 p.m. at The Oakwood Club in Cleveland Heights. The chamber of commerce for Cleveland Heights, Lyndhurst, Richmond Heights, Shaker Heights, South Euclid, and University Heights, HRCC is the area’s premier business-to-business support network. "Success is a mindset," says HRCC Executive Director Angie Pohlman. "Our members are energized and their businesses driven by the dynamic relationships and opportunities HRCC offers." Members enjoy outstanding networking and marketing opportunities, exceptional business education programs and small business support, and valuable savings on business products and services. Currently, more than 350 members create a wealth of resources from which to draw ideas, energy, and leadership.
The Gala affair will combine the pure fun of a sumptuous dinner and dancing-through-the-ages in The Oakwood Club’s luxurious environs with a business-forward program. Wildly entertaining keynote speaker Joe Heuer will delight the audience with his uniquely humorous style and results-oriented, take-no-prisoners approach to Customer Loyalty. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on magnificent prize packages at a Silent Auction, and to applaud colleagues at the special recognition of HRCC’s six member cities and long-standing business members. HRCC is also partnering with Northern Ohio Live to produce a special section in Live’s January issue featuring HRCC’s history, programs, and vision. Advertising opportunities are available.
The 60th Anniversary Gala is being underwritten by sponsor and 60-year member The Illuminating Company, whose employees will also enjoy a specially designed Customer Service workshop with keynote speaker Heuer. "My involvement in HRCC lets me give back to the community," states Mia Moore, Area Manager for The Illuminating Company. "The Illuminating Company benefits because we gain a greater understanding of the local issues that impact our operations now and in the future. Communities benefit beause a representative of the for-profit sector is taking a leadership role in making the region an even better place to live and work." Gold Sponsors include A.M. McGregor Home, Huron Hospital, Silver Sponsors include AXA Advisors, Century Federal Credit Union, and media schmedia; Bronze Sponsor is Goodman & Saks CPAs, Dessert and Recognition Sponsors are Focal Plane Photography and Effective Training & Communications. Sponsors enjoy tremendous promotion, complimentary gala tickets, and other valuable perks; sponsorship opportunities are still available.
