Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) is pleased to welcome e-marketing guru Brad Kleinman to kick off its 2008-09 Business Breakfast Series (BBS). Kleinman will teach participants the new fundamentals of web marketing and how to utilize online social networks to grow their businesses. Sponsored by Case Weatherhead School of Management and Inside Business Magazine, the series will kick off with Kleinman’s energetic presentation on Thursday, September 18 at 8:00am at A.M. McGregor, 14900 Private Drive in Forest Hills. Admission is $10 for HRCC members; $20 for guests. RSVP strongly recommended.
“The ‘New Web’ has changed the game,” says Kleinman, who is the Chief Marketing Officer for WorkSmart eMarketing, “and forced us as organizations and individuals to re-think how to approach marketing. It’s not just about having a website anymore, it’s about your web strategy.” Kleinman, a founder of WorkSmart, creates and runs a host of educational programs to empower business owners and community organization to take their message to the web with effective strategy. “We’re thrilled to give our members the opportunity to expand their visions for what business can and should be in this new technology era,” says Angie Pohlman, Executive Director of HRCC. “In order for us to grow, we need to think and do differently.” Indeed, HRCC’s Business Breakfast Series is acclaimed for inspiring big picture thinking, examining issues critical to business growth and offering practical tools and ideas to energize business owners and their staff. Participants enjoy a light breakfast and learn from dynamic local experts why success is a mindset. The series is held the third Thursday of the month, September through November and January through May.
