HEIGHTS-HILLCREST REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BOARD ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

The Board of Directors of the Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) is pleased to announce the election of new officers. The following directors will serve as the chamber’s Executive Team for the 2009-2010 fiscal year Michael Struk, Zeppe's Pizzeria/Buz-Land Presentations, President Carmen Labbato, IT professional, Vice President Donna Metzger, PC Coach and Associates, LLC, Treasurer Nathan Wills, Wills Law Firm, LLC, Secretary Halle Barnett, media schmedia, LLC/Agel Enterprises, Immediate Past President Angie Pohlman, HRCC Executive Director

Each Executive Team member has long been instrumental in the successful leadership of this dynamic chamber. Struk, who has served in various roles on the Executive Team for more than five years, also founded and chairs HRCC’s Civic Involvement/Economic Development Team (CI/ED), which brings together HRCC’s six member-cities, interested members, and the area’s top minds in planning and decision-making in a unique coalition essential to building a strong regional economy. Labbato returns for his fourth year as captain of the Business Expo Team. HRCC’s Business Expo is hailed across the region the area’s top one-day, business-to-business networking event. Metzger leads the chamber’s Finance Team and will enjoy her third year as HRCC’s Treasurer. Wills leads the Programming Team, which is responsible for the much-touted Business Breakfast Series and HRCC’s other networking and professional development offerings. He is also active on the Strategic Planning and Implementation Team (SPIT) and the CI/ED Team. Barnett has served on the Executive Team for four years, chairs HRCC’s Marketing Team, and is active in many of HRCC’s membership, programming, strategy and outreach initiatives. Pohlman has been HRCC’s Executive Director for four years and is a masterful connector of people, ideas, and action. She sets the daily tone for the organization that is known for its warmth and magnetism.
